Michelle Perez

Creator of Avilla Jewelry

Zodiac Sign: Gemini

Loves: of all things wabi-sabi, painting, and vintage

Michelle Perez is our resident jewelry designer. Originally from New Orleans, she now calls Los Angeles home. She is a true Gemini, using both the left and right side of the brain.

In 2015, her passion for handcraft led her to create AVILLA, a collection of artisan jewelry inspired by ancient cultures and modern form. She makes each piece individually from brass and natural materials, embodying intention and a commitment to slow fashion.

From sourcing to production, Michelle turns to the ways of the ancients — using simple tools, working with natural elements, and creating as a spiritual practice. She always looks for new ways to pursue conscious, small-scale production.

Cynthia Glanzberg

Creator of One Tea

Zodiac Sign Aquarius

Loves: A new leaf on a houseplant, seeing people communicate without language, the sound of a nearby body of water.

Cynthia became enamored with tea’s ability to cross cultural boundaries while traveling the world in search of the fundamental building blocks of human connection. Through countless hours spent sharing stories in tea houses and village homes, she saw firsthand how one special plant has the power to bond people from all walks of life. This universal language drove her to start OneTea, bringing people together and inspiring real connections over sustainably and ethically sourced tea.
