Thursday, July 18th from 6-8pm

Under the oaks and by the river, learn the foundations of a drawing practice through figure drawing.  Working from a live nude model as your muse, we will embrace the life energy of the human form. Using soft charcoal and the play of shadow and light we will dance across the page in playful exploration! 

All skill levels welcome. Materials & Light snacks will be provided. Looking forward to having you join! Please reserve your space beforehand to ensure your spot in the class. 

Lauren is an artist (illustrator and photographer) living in Topanga.  Before settling where the mountains meet the sea, she studied Fine Art at Concordia University (Montreal, Canada), University of Toronto (BFA), and in her earlier years attended Claude Watson School for the Arts where she began her first love affair with life drawing. She's taught various workshops and is here to guide you through the various motions of life drawing.
